Trap Stats works a little differently depending on your role. Pick the one that matches what you actually do in the app.
Not sure which one is you?
Most people are a Shooter: you're on a team, but someone else runs it. You're a Squad Leader if you started your team or were promoted, and you'll see Manage on the Teams page. You're a Club Admin if you created a club or were made one, and you'll see Club in the menu. A League Admin helps run one league and is assigned by a Platform Admin; you'll see Manage league in your account menu.
Quick answers
Shooters
- Do I need to be on a team?
- No. Save a Personal round any time from the camera button (or Upload Scorecard on a computer). Join a team whenever you like; your personal rounds stay yours.
- How do I score live at the trap?
- Tap Score live on the Dashboard, enter the squad in post order, then tap Hit or Lost for each target. Everyone else can follow along from Live now. See the shooter guide.
- How does the app read a scoresheet photo?
- An AI model reads the handwriting and fills in the round for you to check before saving. The printable Trap Stats scoresheet photographs most reliably.
- No signal at the range?
- Keep going. Live scoring and saved rounds catch up as soon as the phone is back online.
- How do I turn on phone notifications?
- Account menu (your initials) › Profile & security › Notifications on this device. Do it on each phone or computer you use.
- I forgot my password, or lost my authenticator app.
- Use Forgot your password? on the sign-in screen. If two-factor authentication is locking you out, email support and we'll help you back in.
- Can I delete my account?
- Yes, any time: Profile & security › Delete my account. Personal rounds go with it; scores shot for a team stay in that team's history.
Squad Leaders
- How do I get people onto my team?
- Share the Team invite link from Teams › Manage. It rotates every 7 days on its own, and you can make a new one any time. See the Squad Leader guide.
- Someone's score is wrong.
- Open the round from the team's recent rounds and correct it.
Club Admins
- How do I set up a club?
- Create it from Get started after signing up, then follow the checklist on Club › Overview. See Running a club and Club Management, page by page.
- How do members pay dues by card?
- Connect the club's own Stripe account under Club › Dues. Payments go straight to the club.
